Events

Maryland Chamber events provide outstanding opportunities to network with high level executives, business owners, legislators, and policy makers from throughout the state. From informative seminars and interactive forums dealing with the latest business topics, to networking events and awards programs, these events are the perfect place for business people to exchange ideas, build strong business contacts and do business.

Major Events
Business Day in Annapolis
Each January the Chamber connects business leaders to the decision makers in Annapolis. Business people from across the state come to Annapolis to promote the Business Agenda, visit their lawmakers, and hear from the Governor and the General Assembly’s Democratic and Republican leaders.

Congressional Delegation Dinner

This annual event, held each February, connects Chamber members with the state’s congressional delegation. During this town hall meeting-style event, Maryland’s congressional delegation and Maryland Chamber members discuss important federal business issues like the economy, energy policy, transportation funding, health care affordability, immigration reform and more.

Annual Membership Meeting and Business Hall of Fame Awards Dinner
Held each Spring, the Annual Meeting is a “must attend” event for the state’s top CEOs, business executives and elected officials. The event is the Chamber’s premier networking event of the year, attracting hundreds of the region’s top decision makers. In addition, each year the Chamber honors the accomplishments of select business executives and entrepreneurs by inducting them into the Maryland Business Hall of Fame.

Small Business of the Year Awards Luncheon
This awards luncheon recognizes the dedication, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by Maryland employers with 200 or fewer employees. Held each June, this event features networking opportunities, a small business trade show and the Small Business of the Year Awards program, which honors three outstanding business and one nonprofit partner in business.

Business Policy Conference
Held each fall, the Business Policy Conference is the premier business-related public policy conference in the state, attracting business executives, Administration officials and legislative leaders. Attendees gain a greater understanding of public policy issues that affect the state’s business community through a series of keynote speakers and issue workshops featuring expert panelists.

Educational Events
The Maryland Chamber’s Business Development Council holds a series of events each year to help small to mid-size and minority owned business owners get connected. The events feature high-level networking opportunities and world-class educational programs.
